Who we are
MadeinTurkmenistan.us is operated by Turkmen American Business Cooperation Association LLC (“TABCA”, “we”), a Delaware limited liability company based in Fairfax, Virginia.
Who you are buying from
When you place an order on this store, you are buying from TABCA. TABCA is the seller of record, takes your payment, arranges delivery, and handles returns and customer service.
Goods are supplied to us on consignment by makers and sellers in Turkmenistan and the United States, who retain ownership of their goods until a customer buys them. We name the brand and, where we know it, the workshop behind each piece, because that is what the store is for. That does not change who you are contracting with: your contract is with TABCA.
Who we serve, and who may sell here
We sell to anyone in the United States we can lawfully deliver to. Our seller criteria are about the goods — chiefly that they were made in Turkmenistan — and about the commercial relationship, not about who the seller is. We do not refuse service, or refuse to work with a supplier, because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, age or disability.
Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we accept your order by dispatching it. We may decline an order — for example where an item is no longer available, where a price or description was wrong, or where we cannot verify the order.
Prices and availability
Prices are in United States dollars and exclude sales tax, which is calculated at checkout. Many items here are one of a kind and are not repeated. If we discover an error in a price or description after you order, we will contact you and you may cancel.
Products, origin and handmade variation
Every product listed here is made in Turkmenistan. Sellers declare the origin and materials of each item in writing.
Much of what is sold is made by hand, so pieces of the same design differ in colour, weave and dimensions. We photograph and measure each item individually. Natural variation of this kind is a characteristic of the work rather than a defect. We aim for accuracy in every listing, but colours can appear differently on different screens.
Delivery, returns and refunds
See the Shipping Policy and the Refund Policy, which form part of these terms. Delivery times given anywhere on this store are estimates, not guarantees.
Using this store
Please do not use the store unlawfully, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or copy its content for commercial use. The text, images, logo and design of this store belong to TABCA or to the makers who supplied them.

Liability
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. [To be confirmed with counsel — Delaware is the state of incorporation; Virginia is the principal place of business.]
Changes
We may update these terms. The version published here at the time you order is the one that applies.
